Sakina GREEN™
The color green plays a prominent role in our corporate image. It also represents our philosophy. In the Qur'an, those who have achieved the ultimate sense of tranquility are described as wearing "green garments of fine and thick silk." In this sense, green represents our adherence to Islam and our desire to attain the tranquility of Jannah (Heaven) for ourselves and others.
Green is also the color of vegetation, which represents life and vitality and creates in humans a feeling of tranquility. We have all experienced the peace that comes from gazing over a lush green landscape. We hope our products create this same sense of serenity.
The environmental movement has adopted green as a color to symbolize everything environmentally friendly. As Muslims, we understand that Allah has entrusted us with taking care of the earth, and this trust entails utilizing resources wisely and minimizing waste and pollution.
For these many interrelated reasons, Sakina Design has chosen green to represent our image and philosophy. Below are just some of the steps we have taken to ensure our products are "Sakina GREEN."
