Our Philosophy
American Muslims come from around the world. We represent diverse backgrounds, yet share a new common home. Despite different languages and cultures, we are united as brothers and sisters by a single faith, and a belief in one God-Allah.
The Qur'an teaches us that the purpose of diversity is to know one another. There are no superior cultures or people; what elevates us is being righteous and acting compassionately.
With these teachings in mind, our goals at Sakina Design are twofold. First, we strive to celebrate diverse traditions by drawing on Islamic art from around the world. Second, we aspire to provide our customers with products that will remind them of the divine and inspire them to do good works.
