For this contemporary geometric design Pik was inspired by architectural elements decorating the interior of the "Court of the Lions" in the famed Alhambra Palace. Built in the 14th century, this palace epitomizes Muslim Spain. It has a special place in our hearts because it represents a bridge between East and West, and an example of tolerance, where Jews, Christians and Muslims lived together in peace.
The artwork is printed on glass with eco-friendly UV curable ink, the frame is made of 80% recycled polystyrene, and the packaging is reusable and recyclable.

I recently moved to Boston, so I am very keen on decorating my house with these art pieces, Inshallah. I do not have the words to express how beautiful and elegant your art is. It embodies some of the true characteristics of Islam; simplicity, purity and grace. Thank you so much for creating this art work.by Noorie, Boston, Massachusettes - May 17, 2011
